			<content:encoded><![CDATA[<p>Obviously, I&#8217;m trying to lose weight. What should I eat and what should I not eat while trying to reach my goal? What are the best diet methods and such?<br />
Also, what is the best way for me to work out?<br />
<br />To lose weight you should avoid processed foods, fried foods, refined carbohydrates (white bread, white rice, etc.) &amp; sugar sweetened beverages. Processed foods are high in sodium and low in nutritional quality. Instead choose a variety of fruits (avoid fruit juice), vegetables, whole grains, low-fat dairy, lean meats, fish or other seafood and healthy fats like olive and canola oil. Especially focus on the veggies! They are super low in calories and packed with fiber to help keep you full. </p>
<p>Eat small frequent meals throughout the day and don’t skip meals. Skipping meals can slow down your metabolism and deprive you of needed energy. Eat breakfast in the morning to wake up your metabolism after a long night’s sleep. Also don’t forget to drink plenty of water. Water is necessary to keep your body functioning properly. Staying hydrated helps with digestion, helps control appetite and flushes out toxins.   </p>
<p>You may also want to keep a food journal. This will give you a good idea of how many calories you are taking in and can help you identify areas where you need to make changes. The most successful “diets” fit easily into your lifestyle and teach you ways to eat healthier that you can stick with for good. It’s best to make lifestyle changes that can become part of your normal routine. This way you’ll have the best chance at keeping off the weight in the long run.</p>

<br />It is possible to lose weight rapidly but you should be realistic and take on board that if you lose weight quickly then you will inevitably put it all back on again just as quickly. <br />Diet is much more important.</p>
<p>Running for half an hour will burn about 300 calories- that&#8217;s a mars bar, why not just not eat the mars bar?</p>
<p>The best combination is a diet with lots of exercise, for weight loss and overall fitness.</p>

<br />Lora, I seriously doubt if you will have much luck here. this is a global board and the odds are pretty slim. I suggest you try a board that is more targeted to your local area. I have included the link to one such site and I also recommend that maybe you check around some of the local gyms and spas, many of them have bulletin boards.<br />
I would also like to take a brief moment to remind you of the safety concerns involved. always meet the person for the first time in a public place and without giving out too much of your personal information first. get to know them a bit before trusting them with any personal information. you never know who you are talking to until you meet face to face with them for a bit</p>
